Experts say the cat is lucky to be alive after having to survive the freezing temperatures inside the cargo hold.
The cat is now being cared for in one of UK’s quarantine kennels.
The seven-year-old Persian cat was only discovered after her owner, Mervat Ciuiti, had touched down in Britain and was heading off in the taxi.
Bisou faces a six-month wait to be reunited with Mervat, who has returned to Egypt.
