Camping

 On Tuesday 22 of December I went camping with my family and cousins and it was a 3 day trip but the drive was 3 hour long drive. I played Uno the most but we also went to the beach and the shower were freezing and I had to sleep with my parents 

Balloon day

 Today at skids we I started  the day off with some massive blocks and I made a tower 1/4 taller but the teacher said "no blocks higher than your self . we did a prayer then  we went to get our  morning tea. after morning tea we went to go outside in our groups I was in Jane's group and we played air Soccer, Musical balloon and we went inside to play indoor games I was playing going to sleep. then everybody came inside for lunch I ate a whole sausage. we got to play around a little bit so I played Beyblade Legos and built my own Beyblades the we play a different musical balloon and I GOT BETRAYED! because moe was to lazy to play and I had just died to save her.

 dear diary my favorite day was going to Myanmar. But I did not like the long flight and i also did not like the fly's  and we stayed their for a few weeks. we had to stay at our aunties house . during the night my auntie's dog bit my toes.

The amazing feat

 One hot summer two little boys named Timmy and Jimmy decided they wanted to go to Canada but their mother only had enough money for one ticket so they decided to sneak on board . 

But they told their mother and she decided to come along in the actual airplane and not on the wing. They like climbing so they had incredible grip and they snuck on the wing. They held on so tight that it nearly broke the wing when it landed they had not survived the extreme cold 

But when they got down they were heated up and got better but they had nearly died then they were happy they had survived and to celebrate they had a snowball fight 

THE tea bag trick

yesterday we did and experiment witch inspire us for several different writing some did story writing and other did procedure the experiment use a tea bag and a match but our teacher had got the wrong tea bags and it did not work the last time so the next day my friend Ryan brought his own tea bags and it worked      

the sience  behind it is pretty simple and it work like an hot air balloon. When you light the tea bag it heats up the air in the teabag ( we unfolded it) become lighter then the air out side ad it lifts up the tea bag

The rocket disaster

The day was the day for the launch of the rocket. They had prepared everything for the rocket so they sent in the first few tries they had failed they had not prepared everything for the rocket in the last attempt. 

This time they were determined to launch the rocket into space so the countdown started. 3,2,1 Blast off! The rocket was flying into space but the hard part had struck. They had to exit the atmosphere so they had to go full throttle . 

But when the rocket blew up they had not made the rocket strong enough and the rocket was split into pieces a group of men led by ivan was sent to go get the rocket scraps to help with the new project.the new project was Called project Blast

They were going to go again and a month later they had completed the new rocket the astronauts had survived and were ready to go. 

The countdown started 3,2,1 BLAST OFF the rocket was launching people were watching in horror as the rocket had exploded into many different pieces. 

They eventually gave up and the astronauts  were transported to another station in need of fresh astronauts.

today we cooked cook island donut and i like it because we got to make our own donuts

Yesterday we were cooking a cook island dish named poke
the ingredient we use were bananas,pariopa starch ,sugar and coconut cream
first  you boil the banana. then they put the banana  in bowls and we made our own batch we added the starch and then the coconut cream. finally we add the sugar  and stir then we cook it . the enjoy

In the holiday I went to the war memorial museum and when we got there we took pictures on the big cannon then we took photos at the waterfall.(they stopped the water) When we were about to go I climbed it and slipped. I slid down for a bit before I lost balance and hit my head. Then the adults told my mother to go to the doctor.

Then we detoured and went home after a while one of my uncles came to our house and told us to go to the doctors. It was nearly barren aside from the 2 people and us.  My mother went to talk to the receptionist after she finished. We waited a little longer before the nurse called us in for a check up.  

We had to wait for what felt like hours for a doctor just for the doctor to say I was fine . the doctor gave me some medicine and we went to a cousin’s house. Then we went home and watched tv.

UMU EXPRIENCE

Umu experience 

Yesterday we had an Umu which was very exciting.
I am going to tell you all about it.

Our principal Mr Herlihy was crowned chief of the school. 

(Which he kinda already was.)

After the crowning the teachers had to drink from a coconut
that was used as a cup for the drink.
While the teachers said what they wanted to say
which was just some thank yous and all. 

While the teachers were doing that the guests
were preparing the Umu and were cooking the pig in the umu 
when the talking was finished I

 ate the food which was scrumptious. 

Some of us didn't want to eat so Mr Raj let us go in class
and have free time.
While they were inside I was talking to my friends. And reading

what it feels like working from home

It is kinda weird working from home.  when you have to talk it is kinda laggy  and it easy to be distracted or the person that is talking might have accidently press the mute button. but there are up sides you can have your privacy and be safe.

While the Year 4's were away on their marae stay, the Year 5's and 6's created sculptures from the letters in their names. The process was heaps of fun and the results amazing! I'm sure many of the artworks now take pride of place in their bedrooms
